FloresFishing, Lda is a maritime-tourist operator with License nº03/2024 issued by the Regional Directorate of Maritime Policies.
The safety and well-being of our customers are very important issues for us, therefore, the Maritime-Tourist Operator License granted to us means that our vessel complies with all safety requirements required by law, as well as, has the appropriate safety equipment for the activity carried out and respective insurance, with the coverage required by law.
FloresFishing develops its activity around the entire Western group, Flores and Corvo islands, the distance between which is approximately 15 nautical miles. Departures can occur from any port on these islands, all of which are provided with sufficient fuel for the safe journey, as well as the entire crew is qualified, with the master/captain of the vessel having a charter in the category of Local Master.
The vessel “Manes” was acquired in 2019 from the factory, and is currently 5 years old. Until then it was used for sport fishing exclusively by the current company manager, Paulo Manes.
The vessel is 6 meters long and 2.40 meters wide.
It has a 100HP engine and has all means of communication and security.
Regarding navigation autonomy, the vessel has a main tank with autonomy for 60 nautical miles and a secondary tank with capacity for more than 40 nautical miles.
